Latency is an installed series of speakers amplifying a recording of radio signals produced by lightning strikes across the earth. It was recorded on the Atlantic coast using a radio receiver directly connected to a recorder. Lighting producing the signals takes place everywhere else on Earth except for the site where the recording takes place.
